Support the Lev family by participating in or donating towards a Relay for Life team created by Alumna Sarah Israel, in their honor.

From Alumna Sarah Israel:
"I know that this is last minute, but I've been away at college and I am trying to pull off an important event for a member of our community. We have just a few days to pull it off! My goal is to raise at least $2,000 towards cancer research. I want anyone who can to join the Relay for Life, LevStrong Warriors as we raise money to fight cancer on May 18th. The American Cancer Society is an amazing organization, and Relay for Life is an incredibly beautiful and moving event. My friend, and Alumnus, Danny Lev is currently recovering from a hopefully successful surgery for stage 3 cancer. What more beautiful way is there to honor and support him during his recovery than participate in this beautiful event and raise money to save lives in his name!? This event is open to any and every one that cares for Danny and his incredible family. Whether you are friends with Danny Lev, Sarah Lev, Jacob Lev or their family members, PLEASE come and PLEASE donate. This can't be a team without members! We can't all physically be with the Lev Family to show our support, so this incredible event is an AMAZING opportunity to show our love and commitment and support for a family that has touched so many lives in so many different ways. Leslie Smith Rosen is currently the Principal of The Shoshana S. Cardin School, Baltimore, Maryland. Leslie has served in the educational field as a teacher at all grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade, a school administrator including founding two schools, and as drama director. Leslie’s family served in the United States Foreign Service and lived in many countries during her formative years. Her background is diverse including attending Catholic school in France and studying in Jerusalem. Leslie is most proud of the title she achieved during this past year. One of her daughters bestowed the honor of “grandmother”. Leslie will be moving to Las Vegas with her husband this coming July. Leslie has her Bachelors Degree in Philosophy and Liberal Arts from St. Johns College, Annapolis, a Masters in Jewish Studies from The College of Jewish Studies, Washington D.C., and a Masters in Education from American University, Washington D.C. Once Leslie is settled into our community this summer she will meet with faculty, students and parents in small group settings.
