After School Programs

Choir/Glee
This year or school Choir will be taught in tandem by Susan Vex and Thom Culcasi. Repertoire will include Hebrew music as well as popular music in all styles. Those students who were previously involved in Mr. Thom's GLEE CLUB should attend Monday after school Choir rehearsals. By integrating CHOIR with GLEE CLUB we hope to become a more diversified musical group with a more varied repertoire. Choir practice will begin on Monday, September 12 at 3:15 PM - 4PM in the upper school music room. Choir is open to all children from grades K - 12.  If your child is in grades K-2  and hasn't been in choir before, a parent  or guardian must accompany that child on the first day.

We represent the Adelson Campus at many important community events.  We have performed with the Las Vegas Philharmonic Orchestra, at the Venetian Hotel, at Opportunity Village, at Tivoli Village, and in the large theater at Sun City, to name just a few. There are no general auditions for choir. We have an agreement with the physical education department as follows: If there is a conflict with choir practice and team practice, the student is excused from team practice until 4:00.  If there is a game the participating student must go to his/her game.  This way a child does not have to make a choice between sports and choir, and can do both.

Rehearsals are in room 140 every Monday from 3:15  - 4:00. The Adelson choir has been in existence for fourteen years and has a very good reputation in the Las Vegas valley.  We hope you join this amazing group!
