After School Programs
Theater, Band, Choir and GLEE
The Adelson Campus Choir is open to students in K-12. Band and Glee are open to students in grades 4-8. Theater is open to students in grades 5-12. Our performing arts groups perform throughout the year - both on campus and at community events. We have performed with the Las Vegas Philharmonic, at the Venetian Hotel, at Opportunity Village, at Tivoli Village, and on Channel 13, just to name just a few. Sign ups and auditions are held each year in the fall and all students are encouraged to participate!
Preschool Aftercare & Enrichment
Aftercare for children 18 months - Junior Kindergarten is provided on all regular school days, from 2:45pm - 6pm. This program is available on a drop in basis and is billed monthly (cost is attached). Snacks are also provided. To sign up for aftercare, please contact Karin Soresman at karin.soresman@adelsoncampus.org. After school enrichment courses are offered in the fall, winter and spring. Past classes have included: Jump Bunch (sports/gymnastics), karate, ballet, yoga, music and Spanish. More information on enrichment classes for 2012-2013 is attached.
Lower School Aftercare & Enrichment
Aftercare for students in grades K-4 is provided on our campus, on all regular school days, from 3:15pm - 6pm by the JCC of Southern Nevada. This program is available on a drop in basis and is billed monthly by the JCC (cost is attached). Snacks are also provided. To sign up for aftercare, please contact Beth Falk at 702.794.0090 or fax the attached form to the JCC. After school enrichment courses provided by the Adelson Campus are offered in the fall, winter and spring. Past classes have included: karate, tennis, basketball, soccer, music, band, theater, mathletes, science, art and computers. More information on enrichment classes for 2012-2013 is attached.
Grades 4-8 Academic Assistance
The After School Academic Assistance Program is a tutoring program for students in grades four through eight who need assistance with homework. This program is available on a drop in basis and is billed monthly (cost is attached). Snacks are also provided. It also provides supervision for those students who stay after school. More information and a sign up sheet are attached.
