Elementary School and Middle School Teachers
The Adelson Educational Campus, accredited by PNAIS, is the only co-educational Jewish Day school offering classes from 18 months-12th grade in Nevada. Our comprehensive approach emphasizes educating each student to be academically stimulated, emotionally secure and physically healthy. It is our vision that our students will become the moral and ethical citizens of tomorrow.
We are seeking the following school positions for the 2010-2011 school year:
Second Grade Teacher to teach core subjects. Experience in differentiated instruction, leveled reading groups, Writer’s Workshop and technology integration.
Fourth Grade Teacher to teach core subjects. Experience in differentiated instruction, literature circles, Writer’s Workshop and technology integration.
Middle School English Teacher – Experience teaching students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade English literary analysis, grammar, vocabulary and writing. Experience in teaching math would also be beneficial.
Learning Support Specialist – Experience working with students with learning disabilities, assisting teachers in creating an accommodation plan, holding parent-teacher planning and assessment meetings and supervising classroom aides. Special Education certification or education required.

Requirements:
Three years teaching experience. Master’s degree preferred.
