Financial Aid Policies

Thank you very much for your interest in an Education for Life at The Adelson Educational Campus. We understand the challenges families are facing, and are committed to helping as many students attend our campus as we can. We expect all families to contribute a minimum amount towards their student’s education, but can supplement the cost of attendance through financial aid. Financial aid is based on a number of criteria including but not limited to financial need, academic standing, citizenship and attendance. The process is conducted by a Financial Aid Committee under the guidance of the Director of Financial Aid and all information is kept confidential. 

Financial Aid is based in part on an analysis provided by School and Student Services for Financial Aid (SSS) which takes into account many factors, including the family’s income and expenses, assets and liabilities. While our resources will not allow us to meet everyone’s full needs, we will strive to accommodate each request as best as we can.

(Note: No financial assistance is available for children enrolled in our Preschool Program, specifically those students in our 18 month-K program.)

For the upcoming school year, please note the following deadlines for returning families (applications for new families to the school will be taken anytime):

Beginning January 1, 2012:

• Submit your Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) online to SSS. The Adelson Educational Campus’ SSS School Code is 1199. If you prefer a paper copy of the Parent Financial Statement, please contact the Business Office and we will mail one to you.

Deadline March 9, 2012:

Submit copies of the following documents to the Business Office (Attn: Financial Aid)

• 2011 Federal Income Tax Return (if completed)
• 2011 W-2’s, 1099’s, K-1’s and/or business profit/loss statements

The Financial Aid Committee will review applications on a first come, first serve basis once all information has been submitted.  Any delays in submitting this information may reduce the amount of aid available for distribution. Your cooperation in adhering to these deadlines will allow us to meet the needs of many families needing assistance. Thank you for allowing us to serve you!
