LOWER SCHOOL LIBRARY
The lower school library is a place where students and faculty have access to a variety of resources. The goal of our school library is to ensure that all members of the school community have access to books and reading, whether it is for information or just for fun. We use all types of media to extend what is being discussed in the classroom. Classes utilize the Internet as well as books for information gathering. Computers are available to research the catalog of books that may be of interest to the child. Many genres of literature are explored as a group through read aloud opportunities with Ms. Amy on a weekly basis. Elementary children are introduced to research practices that expand their quest for knowledge. The Lower School computer lab serves as an extension of the library and is a place where children learn proper keyboarding technique, practical applications of technology, and beginning research skills that will prepare them for the ever growing 21st technological age.
The Adelson Campus is also members of PJ Library. PJ Library is a national book program implemented locally by the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas. It is a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, and it is made possible through partnerships with philanthropists and local Jewish organizations throughout North America.
PJ Library mails FREE, high-quality Jewish children's books and music to families on a monthly basis. Families are able to explore the timeless core values of Judaism through the art and literature of these free children's books.

The mission of The Dr. Miriam and Sheldon G. Adelson Educational Campus is to instruct and inspire new generations of students who will draw strength from a rich Jewish heritage, use their knowledge, values and vision to fulfill their own potential, and build a better world.
The Adelson Educational Campus accepts students of all faiths and affiliations. We contend that students who interact with diverse students in classrooms and in the broader campus environment will be more motivated and better able to participate in a heterogeneous and complex society. By creating a diverse community, we are preparing our students to be the citizens and leaders of tomorrow.
