Middle School Welcome
The Dr. Miriam and Sheldon G. Adelson Middle School supports the development of students in every aspect of their lives as they mature into young teenagers ready for high school.
The transition from the Lower School to The Adelson Middle School is seamless based on our articulated approach to the curriculum. Students enter middle school well rounded with a solid foundation of math, science, technology, English, history, art, music, Judaic Studies, and Hebrew. They are ready for us to continue to enrich their knowledge base, help them understand their own individual learning styles, and work with them to balance their intellectual, social, and physical well being.
We strive to ensure that each of our students develops a thirst for knowledge as well as a deep sense of social justice and personal responsibility that will last a lifetime. Middle school is a pivotal time in a child's life. It is a time when students face both physical and emotional changes and challenges, while growing intellectually and developing core values.
Our teachers, leaders in their respective fields, are there not only to teach, but also to support and guide each and every student on this important journey. We are passionate about education and are devoted to creating an exciting and challenging learning environment where students can develop confidence and maximize individual potential.
