UPPER SCHOOL SWIM
Tuesday 2/21 there will be a meeting for all upper school students who plan on joining the swim team. The meeting will be in the pool area immediately after school and we will be trying on suits so it is very important that they attend.
IMPORTANT 2012-2013 ENROLLMENT UPDATE
We are happy to announce that our wonderful school community continues to grow! Due to record numbers of re-enrollment and new interest in our school, we have just closed our Summerlin Campus Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes for the 2012-13 school year. Stacy Colwell has started a waiting list for any additional students who wish to join these classes and will keep families posted as to the status of enrollment in these grades. Although we are still accepting re-enrollment contracts through our online system for all other grade levels, please make sure to not wait too long as these classes are also quickly filling up. Please feel free to contact Stacy Colwell at stacy.colwell@adelsoncampus.org if you have any questions about the waitlist process.
REPORT CARDS
Parents of students in K-12 should have received an email that has a subject line titled: Family Access Module Login with access to your child's report card, attendance information, class schedule, and contact information. If you did not receive an email, please contact either Stacy Colwell or Paul Mahoney for more information.
UPPER SCHOOL OFFICE
We have a change of faces in the upper school office. Chrissy Rucci has moved on to other projects so we are glad to welcome Michele Kaufman as her replacement. Please direct all emails to Michele.Kaufman@adelsoncampus.org for the upper school office.
UPPER SCHOOL ABSENCES
There has been some confusion about the number of absences shown on grade reports, particularly in the upper school. Do not be alarmed if your child shows more absences than you expected. Our online student record system does not allow us to distinguish between different kinds of absences. If a student is not in a class for any reason, including a school function such as an away game, a field trip, etc., our system will show that student as absent from that class. This number will not impact permanent records such as transcripts.

The mission of The Dr. Miriam and Sheldon G. Adelson Educational Campus is to instruct and inspire new generations of students who will draw strength from a rich Jewish heritage, use their knowledge, values and vision to fulfill their own potential, and build a better world.
The Adelson Educational Campus accepts students of all faiths and affiliations. We contend that students who interact with diverse students in classrooms and in the broader campus environment will be more motivated and better able to participate in a heterogeneous and complex society. By creating a diverse community, we are preparing our students to be the citizens and leaders of tomorrow.
