JUNGLE BOOK WAS A HUGE SUCCESS
The show was a culmination of months of hard work, dedication, commitment and creativity from the production and performance teams. It has been a joy to watch how our school community has come together to bring the jungle to life.
The Jungle Book production has everything you could want: lovable characters, singable songs, and a dancing primate. But who knew that a bunch of jungle animals and a man-cub named Mowgli could teach so many life lessons?
The characters allowed us to realize that no matter who you are or what you look like, there will always be people out there who are willing to care for you when all hope may seem lost. We also learned to appreciate the world around us-- even things as small as the bees buzzing in the trees to make some honey just for you! These are the bare necessities in life.
We hope this is the first of many productions as we start growing our Lower School performing arts program. As you can see, we have an incredible amount of talent in the Lower School, and we are excited to nurture our students’ creativity, artistic skills, singing, dancing, performance skills, and self-confidence.
The many students who worked on this production amidst laughter, excitement, and dedication gained an immense amount of pride and joy in their accomplishments. Through the hours of rehearsals, students created together, overcame challenges, mentored younger students, learned to trust each other, and developed strong bonds with their school community. After all, that’s what friends are for…
