Lifeguard Training at the Adelson Campus

pool

The Adelson Campus is offering its students the opportunity to become an American Red Cross certified lifeguard. There is always a need for lifeguards in Las Vegas. Having this certification will allow you to apply for positions on campus during the school year and for our summer camp, as well as at the many pools around town.

Through a blended learning format, students will complete much of the course work online at home. The in-water portion will take place at the Adelson pool over two Sundays, March 7th and 14th from 10am-4pm.

The cost of the certification is $125. The course is open to students 15 years and older.

Deadline for signing up is February 18th. Sign up with Ms. Kaufman by giving her a check made payable to the Adelson Educational Campus for $125. You will then be enrolled and you will be allowed to begin the online coursework on February 22nd, giving you two full weeks to complete that portion before you do your in water training.

If you are interested or have any questions please contact Coach Lamph at becky.lamph@adelsoncampus.org.
