Blythe Cherney

Blythe was born and raised in California. She earned her BA in Political Science from California Lutheran University, an MA in Educational Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota, and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from UNLV. Prior to joining Adelson in 2015, Blythe taught middle school math in the Clark County School District as a member of Teach for America. In 2016, Blythe completed a 200-hour yoga and wellness program for educators to address social emotional learning in the classroom. The following year, she was awarded an educator fellowship through the National Endowment for the Humanities to learn best practices in teaching social studies. She loves being a part of the Adelson community and tries to create a classroom environment that sparks curiosity and a love of learning.
