Rachel Ziter Grant was raised in Las Vegas, NV. She earned a Bachelor of Science and teaching credentials from Florida Southern College, majoring in Elementary Education. She earned a Masters of Science in Instructional Design and Technology from Full Sail University where she earned the title of Valedictorian. Rachel was a founding teacher in Dawson College Bound, a city-wide program mentoring high performing youth towards high school and college success. Rachel is Adelson's Lower School Technology Instructor. She is responsible for teaching technology, coding, and engineering to Junior K - 5 students, as well as mentoring upper school students with projects in the Startup Incubator. She has written five books on coding for kids published through Capstone. Additionally, as a competitive lacrosse player in college, Rachel enjoys coaching club lacrosse and other AEC sports.
