Tuition & Financial Assistance

As a parent, you understand the impact an exceptional education can have on your child’s future success. It’s about so much more than hoping they’ll be accepted to the college of their choice; it’s also about wanting your son or daughter to be kind, empathetic, and a compassionate leader.

There are unique things a Jewish education can provide — engaging academics alongside enrichment opportunities to learn, compete, and lead — but you might be concerned about how the cost of private school education will affect your family’s budget.

At The Adelson School, we develop confident individuals who are capable and charitable. Our graduates go on to some of the country’s top colleges and on to meaningful careers.

How do we do it?

  • domeAdelson students benefit from an individualized approach to academics — younger students enjoy a challenging, age-appropriate curriculum that nurtures their social and emotional development, while older students benefit from classes and content tailored to their goals and interests. High school students choose from college prep, honors, and advanced placement courses, and can hone in on subject areas and possible career paths through Focus Area electives.

  • Enrichment opportunities inside and outside the classroom allow students to explore interests in music, theatre, business, pre-law, STEM, robotics, and more.

  • Every Adelson middle and high school student has the opportunity to participate in competitive athletics — there are no tryouts or cuts, and students can choose from 10 sports.

  • With small class sizes and a close-knit community, Adelson students are known, valued, and celebrated.

  • We welcome students and families from all faith backgrounds; our commitment to Jewish values and traditions unites us, helping students strengthen their character and encouraging personal growth.

We are committed to providing a bridge that helps make a Jewish education accessible to families. We recognize that affordability is an important factor when considering a private school education in Las Vegas, which is why we offer financial aid.

Affording an Adelson Education

As they consider private school options, so many families approach the cost with one of these strong assumptions:

1. If this is the tuition, then we can’t afford this school because we don’t earn enough.
2. We shouldn’t even bother asking about financial aid because I'm sure we earn too much to qualify.

The reality is that many families representing a wide variety of income levels qualify for financial aid. Generous individual donors and our community partner, Jewish Nevada, help families afford an exceptional education for their children. Adelson’s financial aid application provides a clear, impartial, and transparent process for determining your family’s eligibility.

How much does an Adelson education cost?

As you consider The Adelson School, we welcome your questions about financial aid, payment plans, or whatever else comes to mind. Our admissions team is here to help you process this decision, so you can decide which learning environment is best for your child with confidence.

“Many choose Adelson for the exceptional academic program and Jewish values, but what we appreciate above all is the high level of teacher involvement. The teachers are very caring and extremely dedicated. Every grade level teacher we've had has created a very positive and memorable experience for our child. The cost of Adelson is well worth it, especially with the harsh reality of public and charter school options. It is clear Adelson hires the best of the best in teachers and leadership and we love the safety and security of the campus.  You get what you pay for and at Adelson you get excellence at every level. Adelson has brought out the best in my child. I thank Adelson's teachers for helping me raise a kind, confident, creative, and happy child.”

The Adelson School is fortunate to have generous donors and a partnership with Jewish Nevada, whose financial support is deeply respected and valued. Even with such incredible generosity, our resources aren’t unlimited. While we are unable to meet every family’s full financial needs, we strive to accommodate each request as best we can.

Financial aid is based in part on an analysis provided by School and Student Services (SSS), a third party which provides an objective recommendation based on the information the family shares in the SSS application. The SSS analysis takes into account many factors, including the family’s income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.

The Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) is a comprehensive application that will take some time to complete. Give yourself the time you need by not waiting until the deadline to begin. It will be helpful to have your most recent tax return before beginning the PFS, however, if you do not have your tax return from 2021 completed, please estimate your income from your 2021 Form W-2, 1099, or Business Profit/Loss Statement. We also recommend that you review the wide range of materials that SSS has put together to help families with the financial aid process. They can be found at sssbynais.org/parents

Step 1: Please go to sssbynais.org/parents and create your PFS Online account with your email address and a password. If you applied for financial aid last year, simply login to PFS Online as a Returning Family, using the email address and password you set up last year.

Step 2: Begin a PFS for Academic Year 2023-2024. You can log out of the PFS Online at any time, then return later to complete it.

  • Our school’s full name: The Dr. Miriam and Sheldon G. Adelson Educational Campus
  • Our school’s SSS code: 1199

Step 3: After you have pressed submit, you’ll be brought to a payment screen. The fee of $51 is nonrefundable. Once your PFS is submitted, it cannot be withdrawn from the SSS system.

Step 4: After you pay for and submit your PFS, you’ll have access in the PFS Online to a section called “My Documents.” You can upload the additional documents we require there.

Prepare your documents to be uploaded. Make sure the documents are on your computer, each saved as a separate file. Remove any security or password protection from your document files.

Return to PFS Online and login.

Select the Academic Year 2023-2024 button.

From the PFS Online, click on the “My Documents” tab.

On the “My Documents” page, you will see an upload button or a hyperlink next to a specific document name in the "Required Documents" section of the PFS. Clicking either the upload button or a hyperlink will lead you through a series of steps allowing you to name, locate and save the file.

Once you have uploaded a document, the date will appear in the “Date Uploaded” column within minutes of the upload. Some tax documents go through a verification process. It can take up to 48 hours for the verification process to complete.

The following forms should be uploaded to SSS:

  • 2021 Federal Income Tax Return (if completed; do NOT wait for your income tax return to be complete to apply for financial aid. If your 2021 Federal Income Tax Return is not complete, please submit your 2020 Federal Income Tax Return)
  • 2021 W-2s, 1099s, Business Returns and/or business profit/loss statements (If you have not completed your 2021 Business Returns, please submit your 2020 Business Returns)

If you wish to submit required documents by mail, send to School and Student Services, PO Box 449, Randolph, MA 02368-0449. For overnight service, use: SSS by NAIS, Application Processing Center, 15 Dan Road, Suite 102, Canton, MA 02021. If you need help completing the PFS, contact SSS customer service at (800) 344-8328.
