College Prep

The Adelson Advantage: College Prep

No matter where your child is on their K-12 educational journey, we know college is on your mind. College preparedness only grows more urgent a priority the closer your student gets to graduation. We are committed to preparing your child for collegiate success.

From college counseling and deep, hands-on academic engagement, to our spirit of RUACH and the connectedness of our community, we provide the ideal environment to support your child’s advancement to higher education.

College Counseling

Every high school student will receive individualized attention from our college counselor. Students and families can take advantage of counseling to discuss standardized testing, the college application process including access to scholarships, and strategies to stand out as an applicant.

Your student will be known in a connected community like ours. Classes are smaller. Teachers can more easily recognize strengths and areas to strengthen, and work closely with you and our college counselor to use that information to help your child achieve her or his collegiate goals.

Faculty Support

College prep is a team effort. Instructors will contribute to your child’s college application packet with input about her or his interests, enrichment experiences and accolades. Our English department chair and instructors review seniors’ college applications, with particular attention given to the essays.

Meet the College Counselor

Meet the Adelson college counselor, David Girard, who is dedicated to helping our students with standardized testing and getting accepted to the university of their choice.
