Volunteering at school is a great way to show your child that school is an important part of your family’s life. Following are ways in which you, your child, and your family benefit from participation in the PA.

Your child will feel a sense of pride.

Your involvement in the PA inspires pride in your children. They may not admit it (they may even grumble), but they feel proud seeing their parents as leadership role models, working to enhance their school experience. Your involvement demonstrates to your child the importance you place on education and being a part of their world.

You'll tap into an inclusive network.

PA functions are opportunities to build relationships with other parents. Through shared ideas, talents, and experiences, parents can collaborate on positive and innovative ideas that contribute to the growth of the school and the community.

You are part of the solution.

The PA plays an important role in fundraising to provide building improvements, curriculum-based and extracurricular programming, and social events.

You can share your skills.

Your child will beam for weeks after seeing you on campus running a workshop for parents or investing your time contributing to an event. Whether you are a stay-at-home or working parent, all parents have individual talents that they can contribute toward making a difference. Whether you participate in giving your time, talent, treasure, or any combination thereof, it’s all of great value and much appreciated by the school community and the PA.

We welcome and encourage volunteer participation from our parents. We appreciate the diversity that our community offers in time, talent, and treasure and want to get to know you!
