Creative Writing for Adelson Parents and Faculty

Wednesday, August 23, 2017

Do you enjoy creating stories, writing about your life, or are you simply in need of some creative time in the midst of your hectic schedule? Librarian Ms. Jennifer Nails is pleased to be offering a creative writing course for interested Adelson parents. Participants will begin with a brief yoga warm-up, engage in several writing exercises, read work aloud for comments and suggestions, and share in an open discussion about the writing process (drafting, revision, critique, editing) and the steps necessary for submitting work for publication. All genre-interests welcome (i.e. fiction, memoir, playwriting, poetry, etc). The class will culminate in a reading of your work for invited guests.
