Pride in Community During Kabbalat Shabbat, US students were treated to a preview of the Spring Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone in the theater. Pride in Community & Jewish Values Eleven students and four partner teachers from the Javne Lauder School in Budapest, Hungary have been learning alongside our AEC students and teachers this week!   Pride in Excellence A vibrant Hebrew language program that focuses on reading, writing, speaking, and listening to Hebrew is a foundation of the AEC middle school program. Our middle schoolers range in level to those beginning Hebrew and those who are fluent in the language. Pride in Excellence The Humanities Department used Google Expeditions and Virtual Reality Cardboard Goggles to explore various topics in history including ancient Rome, Civil Rights Movement, and ancient civilizations. Pride in Excellence This week, seniors Micah and Emily, as part of their ACE marketing internship, visited the Las Vegas Review-Journal for a private tour and professional marketing meeting. Pride in Jewish Values: Every year, on the 10th of Tevet in the Jewish calendar, we are fasting to commemorate the destruction of the First and Second Temple. Our Kabbalat Shabbat was dedicated to this event in our Jewish history.
