MIDDLE SCHOOL Fifth and sixth graders went to Mt. Potosi on Tuesday.  During the day, students enjoyed hiking around the area, creating art to celebrate Tu B’Shvat, trying their hands at archery, and a themed scavenger hunt that incorporated learning in several disciplines.  The sixth graders stayed the night and enjoyed a night mission and talent show.  On Wednesday, the sixth graders were up early to see the rare super blue blood moon in the pristine skies free from the city lights.  The... HIGH SCHOOL   Today at Kabbalat Shabbat the 4 community cantors joined us to discuss and teach our students songs about Tu B'shevat, which is next week. This Shabbat is called Shabbat Shira (Shabbat of song) because this is the story of the Jews crossing the red sea and singing praise and thanks to G-d.   We loved welcoming the 8th graders to the high school last week for Shadow Day.
