This Week in Lower School 11/26-11/30, 2018

Friday, November 30, 2018
We have been enjoying unicorns, fairies, gnomes, magical trees and so much more in our Enchanted Forest Book Fair this week. We thank our amazing PTO volunteers for a wonderful book fair, and we invite you to enjoy the book fair and light the Menorah with the PTO on Sunday at 3:00pm. See Flyer
When we buy books for our own kids, we also reminded by our 4th graders  to help others in need. Please support the 4th grade book drive:
Hello Parents,
In 4th Grade Tikkun Olam we will be running a book drive to donate books. Please encourage your kids to bring new or gently used books to school. The book drive will be run from November 27th-December 17th. We will donate the books to Gragson Elementary School.
Don’t forget!
What: gently used or new children’s books
When: November 27th-December 17th.
Surprise: you may get a bookmark for your donation
Hanukkah is coming soon! Our students are learning about the holiday, the traditions, songs, and origin through different activities and experiences. Our fourth graders created their own 3D printed cookie cutters, and they baked cookies with their Kindergarten peers on Thursday. Please enjoy Dr. McCue’s blog post about the integration of Jewish traditions and technology.
Happy Hanukkah!
