Hanukkah Shows
Thank you all for celebrating Hanukkah with us! It was a pleasure learning the Hanukkah story in a creative show led by our 5th graders, and enjoying the songs, dances, and foods together. We would like to thank our amazing teachers for putting such great programs together: Coach Lisa, Ms. Kearns, Mr. Philippus, Morah Miri, Morah Dina, Ms. Valerie, Ms. Kay, Ms. Levy, Ms. Moran Etzyoni (Parent), Rob Berg, the Hebrew teachers, and our amazing homeroom teachers - Todah And Happy Hanukkah!

Wild About Reading
Our Lower School Wild About Reading program has been a wonderful way to encourage our Kindergarten through 5th grade students to embrace the love of reading. As of this week, we have awarded 121 charms to readers from all grade levels. We would like to give a special shout out to Ms. Botach’s second grade class. Her students have read and completed submissions for 35 books so far and are reading new books every day. Keep up the good work!

Dreidel Spin- Off
On Monday and Tuesday, our Lower School student council held a Dreidel Spin-off to raise money for Aishel Avraham (A local food pantry). Each play was 25¢ and winners had the opportunity to pick a prize out of the prize stash.

Kindergarten and 4th Grade Cookie Bake
On Tuesday, our 4th grade and Kindergarten teamed up for buddy cookie baking using the Hanukkah themed 3D printed cookie cutters that the 4th grade made in Discovery Lab. The 4th graders helped the Kindergarten students roll, cut, and decorate the dough. The Kindergarten students also decorated their own cookie jars to bring their cookies home in.
