Yom Hazikaron and Yom Ha’atzmaut
This week, our 5th grade students had the opportunity to join our Upper School students in a meaningful ceremony that observed and highlighted Yom Hazikaron (Israel’s Memorial Day). Thank you to the Upper School for leading this moving program. The following day, the entire school had the opportunity to celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut (Israel’s Independence Day) with our friends Gal and Rinat! They led us in celebrating this exciting day with singing, dancing, flag waving, and showing our pride for Israel. It was nice to see our community wearing their blue and white clothing!
Remote Learning Week 5
Thank you to our amazing teachers and students for another successful week in remote learning. We are seeing our students continue to learn in this alternative learning  environment while staying safe! We understand the many challenges that there are in remote learning and we thank the parents and appreciate their continued support of our school and allowing the process to work for us. Speaking of appreciation. Next week is teacher appreciation week. Please look for the virtual background image sent via Edsby from Mr. Kelly. Please have your children set their background with this image as a surprise to our wonderful teachers.
Kindness Initiative
Continuing with our kindness initiative. Ms. Kendra has recorded a read aloud of the book “Have You Filled a Bucket Today.” Please allow your children to view this wonderful message of kindness by clicking the link. You can subscribe to other read alouds on her channel. Also please work on the Kindness Bingo Challenge
