Pride in Excellence, Community, and Jewish Values
Student Perspective:
During the month of October, our seniors and our administration got together to plan the wonderful tradition known as ‘Senior Sunrise.’ After much planning, our seniors finally got together on the morning of October 24th 2019, to watch the sunrise together on the field. Dancing and taking photos, the class got to experience a fun break with their friends in the midst of the approaching college deadlines. In the Jewish religion, there is a prayer we say upon experiencing beautiful phenomena. To our seniors, this was no exception and they together chanted the prayer as the sun continued to rise. Accompanied with many pastries and warm beverages, the seniors commemorated their work, excellence, and friendships together and watched the sun rise.
