HIGH SCHOOL

Today at Kabbalat Shabbat the 4 community cantors joined us to discuss and teach our students songs about Tu B'shevat, which is next week. This Shabbat is called Shabbat Shira (Shabbat of song) because this is the story of the Jews crossing the red sea and singing praise and thanks to G-d.

We loved welcoming the 8th graders to the high school last week for Shadow Day. The 9th and10th graders participated in engaging interdisciplinary classes with them and planned fun ice breakers and games. After a full day of class and games, they finished up with some chill time and ice cream sandwiches rolled in cookie crumbs, sprinkles, and/or chocolate chips.

A representative from the Rape Crisis Center presented the first installment of the MySpace curriculum to the 9th and 10th graders during FLEX on Monday.
