This Week in Upper School 12/4-12/8, 2017

Friday, December 8, 2017
  • Exams begin on Monday, December 18th and here are a few things you should know:
  • Dismissal each day of exam week is at 12:30
  • AEC laptops must be returned before winter break
  • Parents must email or call Ms. Kaufman to give permission to release a student before 12:30 (For High School students only)
  • Make-up exams on Friday, December 22nd
  • Free dress according to dress code
Fifth graders spent a day with our sixth graders, experiencing what it’s like to be a Middle School student. 
On Wednesday, we had an OPEN HOUSE with current AEC families and prospective families together.
The Middle School swim team finished second on Wednesday and will compete next Wednesday, December 13, in the Conference Championship! Go Lions!
NJHS spent time organizing a letter writing campaign for a two year old boy named Evan, who is currently undergoing cancer treatments.

Tal Derei, class of 2018, presented of his documentary, "Halt the Salt," along with a panel of citizens and researchers to the high school students on Monday.  To watch the documentary, click here.
Come to After School Study Hall in room 302 from 3:15-4:30 Monday through Thursday and get a jump on exam prep, complete homework, or get extra help! 
SPECIAL MEETING: The Class of 2019 families will meet on Wednesday, December 20, at 6:00pm in the Best Midrash.
Ugly Holiday Sweater Slamapalooza-open to 8th graders and above! Don your ugly holiday sweater, bring your $ or Kosher food items, and be entertained on Wednesday, December 13th from 6:00-7:30 in the theater!
