Today the Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, spoke with our High School students.
Final week of regular class for seniors, who also celebrated Commitment Day on Thursday wearing a t-shirt from the university or college they will attend in the fall. They had their last town hall of their career.  AP students had their final week of AP exams this week. You made it!

What you should know

CTP for grade 6 is May 15 - 18
Taking a high stakes test can be difficult, even for the most prepared student. There are things we can do to help ensure success beyond just studying the material. Wednesday, May 17 at 7 PM is Middle School Awards Night.
The Week of May 22 we will have a 12:30 dismissal for middle school students due to semester exams.  
Thursday, May 25 is the 8th Grade Celebration at 10:30 am in the auditorium.  8th Graders and their families are invited to a reception beforehand in the Dining Commons that begins at 9:30.
The Academic Awards Ceremony and National Honor Society inductions will be held on Tuesday, May 16th, at 7:30 in the auditorium.  Please come support your fellow students! Shabbat uniform required. 
Senior Exams begin Monday, May 15, 2017. 
Monday : English from 9:23-10:43 and Math from 1:50-3:10 
Tuesday: Science from 8:00-9:33 and Social Studies from 11:08-12:28
Thursday: Modern Israel from 8:00-9:20, Languages from 11:08 to 12:28, and Art from 1:50-3:10
Seniors must return all textbooks to the library and AEC laptops and charges before Graduation Rehearsal on Friday at 9:30. Seniors must wear caps and gown and dress for graduation.  
Graduation will be held on Sunday, May 21st, at 1:00 p.m. Space is limited so you must have a ticket to enter.    
Review week for underclassmen begins next week.  
Exam week begins Monday, May 22, 2017
Period 1 from 8:00-10:00
Period 2 from 10:30-12:30
Period 3 from 8:00 to 10:00
Period 4 from 10:30-12:30
Period 5 from 8:00-10:00
Period 6 from 10:30-12:30
Period 7 from 8:00-10:00
Period 8 from 10:30-12:30
Students may wear free dress during exams and are free to leave campus at the end of each exam day or meet with teachers who will be available in their rooms until 3:30. 
Laptops and chargers must be returned before the end of each exam week.  There will be tables set up for this purpose on the second floor landing between 12:30 and 1:00 each day of exam week.  They must be checked in with an IT person. 
Teachers will collect all textbooks during exam week and students must clean out lockers and be checked out by their advisors before the end of exam week.  
Make sure you check the website for any summer homework to be completed for next year.  
Parents of rising seventh and eighth graders were has elective forms sent home today with students, and students can begin turning correctly completed forms in on Monday, May 8 at 7:30 am.  Top elective choices will be filled on a first come, first serve basis as long as re-enrollment paperwork has been completed with the Admissions Office.
