DISCOVER MED
On Wednesday, fifty of our High School students attended the DiscoverMED program at Roseman University of Health Sciences. There the students were introduced to a case study pf a young patient suffering from several symptoms (based on an actual patient). Students learned how to obtain and analyze information from the patient’s test results, they were able to diagnose his ailments and prescribe an appropriate course of action.
Paleontologist Guest Speaker
Today the 6th grade students had a visit from Dr. Josh Bonde, a paleontologist at the Las Vegas Natural Museum. He brought in fossils for us to look at and told us about his education and job.
