Or Taicher, co-founder of Koolulam, visited AEC to talk to our students (3rd-12th grade) about how to inspire people to make the world a better place. Koolulam is a social-musical initiative aimed at strengthening the fabric of society. The project centers around mass singing events in which large groups of non-professionals come together to form a collaborative musical creation. Koolulam brings together people from all walks of life to do one thing: stop everything for a few hours and just sing together. Koolulam has inspired millions around the world, see their recent performances: One Day | One Love (Tower of David in Jerusalem)
Sharon Schafer, a desert photographer and artist, presented “Desert Project” to sixth grade students. This cross continent project connects students across the world who live in different desert environments. Make sure to watch this week’s Teacher Profile, featuring Paula Garret. WATCH VIDEO.
